I'm awful. I grew up in a girl's school and I was always getting lectured for my bad embroidery or awful patching jobs. I can mend some things now, but they aren't pretty. I mostly learned by sewing sails or giving myself stitches.
I was too much of a coward. She carried this big mace around all the time, and she'd use it if I tried to stand up to her. She decided everything. When I ate, when I slept, what I wore, what I did. And I was just too scared to ever say "no".
those types are the most afraid! they are so captivated by power the thought of losing it makes them scary they take the fear so no one else can. without power they are nothing
I suppose that tracks. She was very big on us telling her that she was the most powerful, terrifying, beautiful, talented, formidable pirate on the seas. I made it easy, though. I was pathetic.
