Thank you! This is brilliant, and should be easy enough to make. I wonder if distilling lake water is the best route, or if we should be gathering rainwater? I've read a bit about the pollution in both, but the risk of standing-water parasites in the lake seems higher.
Of course, yes, I'll get started right away, then. Just in case. Maybe I'll see what the end result is for both, see what's better for cooking with and what's more sanitary and go from there. I'll keep you posted.
