This place has created many things on its own, I wouldn't put it past them to find something similar.

[Goodsir is a gentleman... but still a man, and he's not immune to the thrill from a peek of skin. He sees, but glances away quickly, as if the sight might blind him.
Goodsir deviates to get the lettuce - romaine - and holds it up with a smile before he moves to Lincoln. He pulls a leaf off and offers it to her.]
There you go. Lovely girl.
[Another leaf before he straightens and goes to the tea. He pours out, raising his eyebrows at Koby.]

[koby doesn't appear to notice, straightening up and tugging one strap back over his shoulder, fastening it with a click and smiling as lincoln stretches out her long white neck and nibbles happily on the lettuce leaf. she eats it rapidly, hopping up onto the table for the second one, prompting a soft gasp from koby.]
Lincoln -- don't, not the table. [he scoops her up, depositing her back on the chair, ears pink.] Sorry, her manners disappear when food's involved. [the duck turns her back, deliberately, ignoring koby fixing the other strap, then shifting to smile up at goodsir.]
Just a little of each? Not too much, sometimes the drinks here are more sugar than liquid, I've found.

[koby still draws the line at ducks on the table itself. lincoln seems settled on the other chair, so her fretful keeper exhales, turning on his seat to face goodsir, sipping at his tea and crossing one leg over the other.] She’s gotten really used to sleeping on top of the bookshelves in the library, so I worry about teaching her bad manners.

[lincoln pokes her sleek little head over the edge of the table, giving goodsir a very waterfowl-esque look of approval at the mention of napping on books – and, her lettuce done, hops down from the chair and begins waddling around, examining the surroundings. she seems mostly to be a normal duck, but periodically the light hits her feathers or eyes in a way that makes them appear – serpentine, almost, gleaming like scales.
koby watches with open fondness, reaching out his socked foot to stroke along her back when she gets close enough (an act lincoln pauses for, fluffing up in enjoyment), then smiles up at goodsir, more warmly.] So am I. Any ease I may have is all an act, I promise. At my core I’m nothing but teeming anxiety, so…consider the playing field level.
[then, as lincoln toddles over to examine goodsir’s feet instead:] I don’t regret them either. They were very, ah…enlightening. [another sip of tea.] As I might’ve mentioned, I’ve never really, um. Engaged in that sort of…scenario. [siiiip.] I wasn’t sure how I’d react.
