the legends say: once upon a time, there was a summoned boy who looked to the stars for guidance, who set out on a voyage towards godhood that taught him how to achieve his long-held dream, to protect people, and his new possibilities in abraxas. 800 years on, koby now acts as the guiding "north star" to the abraxans, called upon when undertaking new beginnings or setting out on journeys, metaphorical or literal.

there aren't any formal temples for the herald of the maiden voyage, as his presence is usually requested during travel, though the practice of carrying star-shaped pendants has gained popularity in the last few centuries. it's also customary to set out offerings of thanks when a journey has been safely completed, usually bread or fruit. simple, uncomplicated fare. his petitioners will also call upon him when they've been wronged, wishing for protection from enemies, though koby could never become a truly vengeful god. he's seen much more as a deity of protection and guidance, and will often send bits of stardust (shaped like the little fishes~) to safely lead people out of the woods or the wilds.

the last 800 years have mostly been koby gaining confidence in himself and allowing people close to him. he has few enemies, always striving to be a kind, supportive, encouraging presence to his fellow pantheon of summoned gods. he's welcomed any opportunity to get closer to the other deities, both friendship and romantic, and welcomes a wide variety of other gods into his realm. he'll also always open his horizon domain to any summoned who need it, making sure they're rested and well-stocked for the rest of their journey.

as he gained more familiarity with the magic of abraxas -- and his own internal potential for haki, his world's type of power -- koby's appearance began to change as well. hundreds of years on, his hair is nearly white, bright and glowing like the stars themselves, while stardust permeates every bit of him, appearing in his blood, his eyes, his tears. he can send out little balls of this dust, guiding lights for his worshippers.

in his truest form, koby is just light, limitless and bright and constantly changing, but he sticks to a humanoid form most of the time, to be more approachable. it's evident to anyone who touches him, though, as he's very warm to the touch, a swirling cosmos made tangible.

true north

koby has a nearly-perfect sense of direction, and is most often called upon to use this to guide his petitioners to safety -- most often physically, while actually travelling across abraxas.

guiding star

when called upon, koby's little fish guides will appear in the darkness and swim through the air ahead of his followers, guiding them safely to where they need to go.

weighted anchor

a curse -- koby's never explored this side of his powers, even after 800 years, so it remains largely a mystery. when he's eventually pushed far enough, this curse will wrap around any opponent like the chains of an anchor and bodily drag them into the ground they stand on, letting them suffocate beneath the earth.
