[Harry's room is outfitted to be as modern as any other - it has electricity and the bathroom has running water - but in terms of decor he's left it more or less the way it was when he moved in. The furniture is dark wood, the curtains heavy, the rug richly patterned, the paintings on the wall antiques. Everything is clean and neat. The only real giveaway that it isn't an unoccupied room is the desk set against one wall - books are piled high there, along with several notebooks and a couple of pens.
'Doctor' Goodsir himself is as old fashioned as his lodgings, although when Koby arrives he is markedly not wearing any sort of suit jacket. He still has a waistcoat (a surprisingly lush burgundy) on over his shirt, but his collar is undone and there is no sign of a tie or cravat. He's positively disheveled by his own standards. He smiles brightly when he opens the door wide, ushering Koby and his pet duck inside.]

Well, there isn't a REAL volcano here, so that'd be silly to be afraid of it. It's very flat around here, for the most part.

[koby’s dressed simply – his usual fare of overalls over a sweater, warm and loose-fitting, casual in a way that doesn’t speak so much of beguiling or wooing as it does comfort, relaxation. granted, a big bonus of this ensemble is that lincoln can ride in the front of the overalls, snuggled against koby’s chest with his arms beneath her to support her fluffy, feathery weight.
